Paint with acrylics

There are different kinds of paints to work on and people will prefer to work with different kinds of paints according to their preferences. There are water colors, gauche colors, oil paints and acrylic paints and you can use any of them but most of the people will start with acrylic painting when they start doing canvas painting for beginners because acrylic paints are easier to handle and work with also you can change the consistency of these paints. You can have them a little flowy or thick and also you can make them a bit translucent while mixing them with water. When you have paint by number kits then you can use acrylic paints on them too. Here are some of the tips to use them:

While working with acrylic paints, you have to use the right kinds of paint brushes too and also you have to clean your brushes carefully because they will get stick to the brushes and if you do not clean them properly after every use then this paint will get stick to it and then it will be difficult to clean them completely. You have to get some water near you and make your brushes dip in them after you change the size of brush so the paint will get out of it. During painting you can have a rough cloth near you so that you can wipe those wet brushes with that piece of cloth. There will be no need to get a new cloth but you can have any leftover cloth piece.

When you are using acrylic colors then you have to keep in mind that they will get dry very quickly and you have to make sure that there will be no direct air in that place or you have to keep your palette covered if you are working under the fan because your paint will get dry and then you will lose a lot of your paint in that. Also you have the facility of adding some water in your acrylic colors if you want to get some liquid consistency of your paint according to the demand of your design but make sure that you do not add too much of water otherwise there will be the changed look and you will not get the desired look from your painting.
