Breakfast is the first meal of the day but many of us walk out of the house without even drinking a glass of water because of routines. Oatmeal: Oatmeal can make your breakfast rich and nutritious. The food have beta-glucan, a thick fibre that fulfils your hunger and keeps your tummy full for a longer time. Oatmeal has folate, antioxidants, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids. 

Eggs: Eggs are a powerhouse. Therefore have scrambled eggs or boiled eggs in breakfast and enrich your bodies with proteins and Vitamin A. 

Nuts: Many people think that nuts are not good for health as they are rich in fats and cholesterol. However, nuts and nut butter lower the risk of death by 20 per cent because they have proteins, potassium, magnesium and antioxidants. You can buy almond butter or peanut or cashew butter to enrich your bodies with essential nutrients and minerals. 

Coffee: Isn’t it the best news that you could have your favourite drink at breakfast? Coffee is healthy to drink in the morning if you would use plant-based milk and reduce sugar in it. The study suggests that coffee reduces the risk of getting Diabetes 2 as they improve glucose metabolism. Besides, there are antioxidants in the caffeinated drink that reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. 

Berries: Two handfuls berries delight all of us because of their sweet taste. Berries are low in calories but high in fibre and antioxidants. Therefore, blend them with yoghurt or add red and blueberries in oatmeal to make the meal scrumptious. You can even keep a pack of berries in your bag to fulfil your hunger.

Milk: A glass of milk is enough to switch on your metabolism and feed the tummy. The white and nutritious drink is the richest source of calcium. Although you can mix some chocolate powder in it to have some sweet taste, it is better to have it without any flavour because they reduce their nutrients.
